She has a cool owner in Mark Cuban. The Grizzlies owner is a fat guy that wants to sell the team.
We have Pau (whiny Spaniard). They have Dirk (angry David Hasselhoff loving German).
We have Mike Miller (Florida alum who’s shot disappears at crucial times). They have Jerry Stackhouse (North Carolina alum…enough said).
They have the sold out American Airlines Center (best arena atmosphere I have ever been in). We have the half full FedExForum (many of whom don’t show up until halfway through the first quarter).
And they have beat us 9 straight times.
So they are better.
ANNE’S MAVERICKS ARE A VASTLY SUPERIOR TEAM THAN MY MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES.
